Download Grace by Angel Simon
Angel-Simon is a creative entrepreneur and a seasoned Spoken Word icon with an enviable passion for Christ. He graduated as the Best Overall Student from the Department of English, University of Lagos in 2014. He is a published poet in several magazines, dailies, journals and online platforms locally and internationally.
In November 2013, with an outstanding delivery of his Spoken Word titled 'Before I Was Transformed', he won the Creative Writing Category at the All Good Gifts Competition of Art organized by the RCCG Olive Tree Parish, Banana Island, Lagos, Nigeria. He also led Team Love (RCCG Tower of Power Youths) comprising of other forms of art (music, drama, dance, fine art, and recitation) to collectively emerge as the overall winning team at the same competition.
With such motivation, he was spurred to explore more of himself. He initiated a genre of Spoken Word he called #Sporuses (the eclipse of spoken word and choruses), well received, appreciated and enjoyed by his global listeners.
He is also an adventurous poet who is currently on a global tour themed #Project100Podium, having visited several states in Nigeria where he ministered in various conventions, conferences and concerts, and gracefully shared stages with several icons of the gospel of truth. Also in his creative portfolio is the globally acknowledged gospel pictorial quote, #My_Visible_Wings, which is published weekly across social media platforms such as Blogs, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Whatsapp and BBM.
His favourite quote is "In every generation, race, colour and creed, if JESUS can be PRAISED, great men and women can be RAISED, and every evil work can be ERASED."
